HOW TO VIEW SUBTITLES/VIDEOS

Can't view your videos or subtitles? Then you're at the right place! Here you can find out how to combine videos, play videos, and view subtitles.

First of all, softsubs are subtitles that are not automatically in the episode. They are usually in an SRT or SSA format and can be taken on and off, so you'll still have the RAW video. Some videos are in an RMVB format, which is for Real Player, but I don’t think Real Player can do subs, so there are a few things you need to do. Then there are the files that are too big to upload at once. You will need to combine the videos.

Okay, let's start with softsubs:

1. Make sure that your video file and your subtitle file have the same name. If you're getting it from this site, you shouldn't be too worried about that since I already did that. It would also be best (or easier) if they are in the same folder.
2. Make sure your codec is able to play subtitles. VLC players work, though I would recommend a BSPlayer.
3. Double click on the video and when it opens, the subtitles should already be on there. If not, click on the second to last rectangular box that has a square and an ‘s’ in it. Then find and select the subtitle file (remember, the video file and subtitle file should ALWAYS have the same corresponding names).

Now, if your video is in an RMVB format:
1. Again, I would recommend a BSPlayer (download links are at the bottom of the page).
2. It might not be able to play the file right away (you might want to try first). If it doesn’t, you need to download the Real Alternative.
3. It will probably ask you to uninstall your actual real player first, go ahead (wait until it asks you).
4. To view the subtitle files, look above.

If a file is too big to upload at once, then I would've split the video into two or more parts to download (it's a pain, but worth it). You will need to use hjsplit, which you can download below.

This is how you combine the videos:
1. Gather the parts of the episodes into one directory/folder.
2. Make sure they have the same names and end in .001 or .002 and so on (it should already be labled as stated).
3. Open hjsplit and click "join".
4. Browse for the input file until find the first part out of all the parts (the one ending in .001 for the episode your looking for) and double click (or open). It may already have it as the only choice.
5. The output file should already be filled. Now, click "start".
6. Once completed, the whole episode should appear in the same folder as where the divided parts were.

And that's that! ^^ Hope you'll enjoy viewing the video!
